Riders of Motorcycles, ATV Users, and Motorsports Enthusiasts are Leaving eBay Online Auctions

MotoYard.com caters to the specific interests of motorcycle, ATV, powersports, and sportbike lovers. The new Internet auction web site is attracting many buyers and sellers.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 16, 2006 -- eBay has become so big, and so expensive to list and sell items, that many within the motorsports community are turning to an online auction site that caters more to their specific needs and interests.

"We know motorcycles, ATVs, and powersports because that has been our love for many years. We were frustrated with our experience on eBay, and the more we talked with others the more we found out we were not unique. We created http://www.MotoYard.com to provide people who love motorsports like we do a better way to buy and sell using an online auction," described Scott Davis, who helped create the site.

Apparently he is correct, because his auction site is already packed with listings that include new and used motorcycles, ATVs, parts, accessories, and even apparel of all kinds. Sellers are finding great success. A high percentage of listings are turning into sales, because there is high traffic and plenty of buyers.

"The powersport community is a close one. Word gets around quickly. It is exciting to see how fast our site is growing each and every day," said Davis.

Whether buyers are looking for a unique part, a hard-to-find motorcycle, a sportbike or parts, a street bike, new and used replacement parts, other accessories, or apparel, they can find it at MotoYard.com, and that is why the site has been growing in popularity.

The site has been designed to cost about half of what eBay charges sellers, and new sellers are given a credit of $20 to enable them to start selling with no cost at all.

The site is privately owned by motorcycle riders and is carefully designed to appeal to people with that specific interest. It is not surprising that the site has rapidly expanded in use and has a large assortment of listings of new and used motorcycles, motorcycle parts, motorcycle accessories, and motorcycle apparel.

"We offer auction style or fixed price listings so you can sell your motorcycle, parts and apparel the way you want, and at a much more reasonable cost compared to what eBay charges," said Davis.
