Washington, D.C. (HRMarketer/PRWeb) October 28, 2006 -- The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and Towers Perrin, a global professional services firm, announced today that Towers Perrin has become a global underwriter of HCI, helping to bring the latest human capital education, metrics, and tools to leading corporations.

Towers Perrin is sponsoring HCI's Workforce Effectiveness learning and research track. The track examines workforce strategies as they relate to helping organizations address significant business challenges, such as global competition, emerging skills shortages and the need for product and process innovation. A panel of expert advisors explores best and next practices, sharing information with human capital professionals through Webcasts, white papers, education and other resources. The track is at the heart of topics addressed in HCI's Talent Strategy community of interest, since workforce effectiveness is the ultimate goal of talent management activities.

Towers Perrin is pleased to support the Human Capital Institute's learning initiatives. We applaud their efforts to help companies sharpen their focus on talent and look forward to a long and successful alliance with HCI
As part of the agreement, Towers Perrin will enhance HCI's member resources by providing access to research and analytical tools. HCI will in turn provide corporate membership, with associated education, resources, and tool sets, to Towers Perrin's employees and select client companies.

Towers Perrin is also a Platinum sponsor of HCI's seven-day Global Delegation to India, November 1-7. The tour, which includes meetings and events in New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bangalore, will offer a balance of business and cultural elements designed to provide participants with the opportunity to build relationships, and develop a well-rounded understanding of the country, its people, its business practices, and its talent potential.

"We're pleased to partner with Towers Perrin, an important contributor to thought leadership in HCM. Their support will allow us to ratchet up our exploration of cutting-edge workforce strategies, and make innovative initiatives like HCI's Delegation to India more accessible for all organizations," said Allan Schweyer, HCI's President & Executive Director. "We look forward to working together to create top-notch talent management educational opportunities for the global business community."

"Towers Perrin is pleased to support the Human Capital Institute's learning initiatives. We applaud their efforts to help companies sharpen their focus on talent and look forward to a long and successful alliance with HCI," said Don Lowman, Managing Director of Towers Perrin's HR Services business.
