JK Racing Inc.joins forces with Nex-Gen Motorsports to proudly announce their representation of the team's very first African American driver, Mark C. Lowrey. Through effective target marketing and sponsorship programs, JK Racing Inc. And Nex-Gen Motorsports hope to reinforce opportunities for minority drivers in auto racing.

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) November 21, 2006 -- An expert in the field of auto racing, a successful sports and entertainment company, and one experienced African American driver with his sights set on NASCAR--have joined forces to promote one common goal: Cultural diversity in the world of auto racing. Minority drivers have been greatly overlooked by major corporations in their interest to promote and brand their names in motorsports. The reality is that auto racing is one of the fastest growing sports in the world with endorsements and contracts growing to an all time high.

JK Racing Inc. And Nex-Gen Motorsports are confident in standing behind an accomplished driver like Mark C. Lowrey. Currently working as an instructor at the Buck Baker Racing School, Mark has acquired hundreds of laps at race tracks all over the eastern region. He boasts two wins out of four races entered in 2004, four top ten finishes with three of them being in the top five. His 2003 race results brought him the title of ARTS Rookie of the Year. " Since I was four years old, I knew racing was in my blood." Mark explains. His current goal is to race the 2007 season in the ARCA RE/MAX, Nascar Busch Racing series that will ultimately help pave the road for him to be the first African American driver to win a major NASCAR Nextel Cup, Busch, or Craftsman Truck Series race.

"Bringing his talent and winning track record to the attention of potential sponsors will be a major growth opportunity for minority drivers everywhere. It also encourages access to the untapped minority market which has billions of dollars in buying power." says spokesperson, of JK Racing Inc.

Based in Indianapolis, Charlie Patterson, of Nex-Gen Motorsports began his forty-five year auto racing career as a crewman for an Indy Racing Team. He's mastered a variety of skills from lead fuel man to crew chief, owner of the USAC Silver Crown and Midget racing teams and co-host of the Indy-500 pre-race sports shows. Nex-Gen Motorsports is the latest chapter on Charlie's colorful career. Its company focus is a new driver search and placement program designed specifically to fufill the growing sponsor demand that NASCAR and its teams provide a younger and more camera friendly driver image as representative to the sport. With his proven ability to single out those young men and women who possess the rarest combination of natural talent, star image and the personal dedication necessary to achieve championship status, Charlie Patterson feels he's found a diamond in the rough with Mark C. Lowery.

JK Racing Inc. is apparently sharing the same gut feeling about the Mark's undeniable racing talent. JK Racing Inc., as a minority company, shares great passion in ensuring Mark's success as well as developing long term partnership opportunities with their sponsors. The company vision is to revolutionize the sports entertainment agent industry into one where agents, in addition to providing excellent representation, have a positive impact on the clients they represent.

As a provider of sports and entertainment management education, they strive to prepare a new generation of athletes and performers with knowledge, critical thinking, ethics, integrity, and the passion to succeed.

JK Racing Inc., along with Nex-Gen Motorsports looks forward to contributing to the need for cultural diversity in auto racing. By assisting minority drivers in securing the very best sponsorship opportunities available, building brand awareness and driver success simultaneously, is surely unlimited.
