Toledo Jazz guitarist turned Pop singer/songwriter Chavar Dontae is turning a lot of heads with his EP titled One Of Those Days. Engineer Dylan Ely who has worked with Lyfe Jennings, Ludacris and many more mixed and co-produced the EP. Chris Gehringer Senior mastering engineer at the power house mastering studio in New York, New York mastered the EP. Chavar will make his live debut in Atlanta's Relapse Theatre November 18, 2006.

Toledo Jazz guitarist turned Pop singer/songwriter Chavar Dontae is getting a lot of industry attention from his EP titled One OF Those Days, that will be released November 21, 2006. Engineer Dylan Ely, who has worked with Lyfe Jennings, Ludacris and many more, mixed and co-produced the EP. Chavar Dontae's music is a blend of Funk, Rock, and Soul. His background in Jazz and Classical guitar along with his composition studies help to bring a different element to his music. Chavar wrote and performed all the songs on his EP. The fact that improvisation is a major part of his recordings and live shows he is set apart from other artists in the Pop genre. Chavar is a Guitar Performance graduate from Bowling Green State University. He studied music with a world class staff and attended master classes with legendary musicians. In addition, Chavar spent a lot of time developing his improvisation skills at the former Rusty's Jazz Cafe and Murphy's in Toledo. Chavar Dontae used the popular website myspace.com to get listeners around the world to hear his music. With the help of a few close friends the word has quickly spread. Some of the top DJ's in Atlanta spin Chavar's music even though it's not the typical style of Pop music that gets played in the big night clubs.

Chavar will make his live debut in Atlanta's Relapse Theatre November 18, 2006. Following the Atlanta debut and a few dates between he will perform in Toledo on December 2, 2006 opening for National Act Flickerstick. Chavar Dontae and Engineer Dylan Ely will start production on the full length album in December.
