Designed to kick-off their first runway fashion show and expose their undies to the public, the mother of all thongs measures 20 feet tall and 17 feet wide. Sewn from 36 yards of black lace fabric, the garment took two seamstresses five days to complete. The gargantuan lingerie will be unveiled November 18 at the beginning of Evlove's fashion show.

The event will be held November 18th at the Skylight Studios, 1956 W. Grand Avenue. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will start at 7 p.m. with the unveiling of the Thong at 9 p.m. The custom lingerie fashion show with 10 runway models in 29 sets of intimates will follow the unveiling. The black lace fabric was donated by Malibu Textiles of New York and was large enough to cover a third of a football field. The custom pattern was created and mapped by Margaret Taft of Design Works in Vermont and the sewing was coordinated by Noman Rao in Illinois. Submission to Guinness Book of World's Records is pending.
