National Shredding Firm Adds 500th Location - Company Expands Services Across North America

Shred Nations improves its ability to provide shredding services across North America by adding its 500th location. The company provides shredding solutions to customers who have anywhere from 1 box to 1,000 boxes.

(PRWeb) November 28, 2006 -- Today Shred Nations announced the addition of their 500th secure shredding facility. Their service area now covers all fifty states and every territory. "Our reach keeps growing, and adding our 500th facility is just another indication of the level of service we can provide our clients in North America," says John MacAdams, General Manager of Shred Nations. "It would be hard to find a place we don't offer shredding services," he adds.

Shred Nations began in 2001 with the intentions of serving just the Denver market but they have quickly expanded in response to the exploding need for secure shredding. As identity theft has grown, so have the laws intended to combat it. Many of these laws include requirements for businesses to shred personal information. The volume of shredding in most offices exceeds their shredder so many businesses now outsource the work.

With Ship ~n~ Shred they get the same security as a business and at a great price.
The ShredNations.com website was designed to handle virtually any shredding service request from one box of sensitive documents to a purge of 1,000 boxes. "We get hundreds of visitors a day," says MacAdams, "Our job is to help educate consumers and match them with the right shredding solution for them."

Shred Nations specializes in shredding services for businesses. It's most popular solutions are mobile shredding, shredding at the customer location, and off-site shredding, shredding the material at a secure facility. The type of shredding used is function of what is being shredded and the volume of material explains MacAdams. "Some businesses require monthly service to adhere to state and federal requirements," MacAdams explains. "We are sensitive to those needs and try to match these customers to our shredders who can meet their needs."

The shredding is done through a network of local contractors who have been pre-screened by Shred Nations. "Our members demonstrate security procedures exceeding the industry standards," says MacAdams. Shred Nations attributes its rapid growth to their leveraging of local operators.

In addition to serving businesses, Shred Nations offers shredding services to homes. The most popular home shredding service they offer is Ship ~n~ Shred, www.shipnshred.com. It utilizes FedEx to securely deliver small volumes directly to the shredding location. "We are inundated with homes looking for a solution to their pile of shredding," says MacAdams. "With Ship ~n~ Shred they get the same security as a business and at a great price."
