Prominent academic and business executives to advise publication.
San Diego (PRWeb) November 28, 2006 -- To further solidify the connection between business intelligence magazine bizSanDiego and its readers, the publication names four notable members of the San Diego business community to its advisory board.
Established to provide valuable insight to the bizSanDiego management team, the advisory board will help carry out the goals and mission of the brand – to facilitate meaningful conversations among San Diego’s business leaders. Board members include: Larry Coval, director of sales at Cox Business Services; Gail K. Naughton, dean of the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University; David Salisbury, director of business development for the west coast region at Mintz Levin; and Don Starkey, senior vice president for the Western Market for Commerce Comerica Bank.
“The formation of an advisory board allows bizSanDiego leadership to work closely with reputable members of the San Diego County business community whose knowledge and skill-set match the strategic goals of the brand, including academic wisdom, sales insight, corporate board experience, customer contacts and more,” said Brian Sacks, publisher of bizSanDiego. “We are fortunate to have assembled such a noteworthy group and look forward to benefiting from their experience.”
Members of the bizSanDiego advisory board will provide input and strategic guidance for bizSanDiego enterprises and will serve to keep the publication apprised of the pertinent issues affecting the City of San Diego business community and surrounding areas, which may be reflected in topics discussed in bizSanDiego magazine and the business magazine online version, bizSanDiego.com.
“Being named to the bizSanDiego advisory board gives us all a great opportunity to bring to light the real issues facing San Diego businesses,” said Salisbury. “As an active member of the business community, Mintz Levin has a vested interest in seeing that San Diego County continues to grow and thrive.”
