The LightScribe Linux public software development kit (SDK) allows individual application developers to integrate LightScribe support into Linux-based software. Linux users will now be able to experience the benefits of LightScribe, a no-hassle way to burn professional, silkscreen-quality labels on CDs and DVDs right in the drive. LightScribe, the only widely available embedded disc labeling technology, is licensed to over 70 optical drive and media manufacturers, software developers, media and computer brands worldwide.
