Controversial O.J. Simpson TV Show Hits the Internet

Parody video features O.J. Simpson and the popular TV series The Simpsons. Animated viral video addresses Simpson's book, If I Did It, and the Simpson murders and trial.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWeb) December 12, 2006 -- Move over Homer Simpson, there's a new kid on your block and he is raising eyebrows in a shocking new animated parody that is taking the Internet by storm. The two minute clip featured exclusively on www.broadcaster.com stars a Homer Simpson-like character named O.J. living in a place very similar to Springfield. The intro segment includes Simpson on a golf course and even a low speed chase of a white Bronco. But once the dialogue begins you realize that the subject matter at hand is no laughing matter. Or is it actually funny after all?

"When we first heard about the pending book deal for If I Did It we couldn't believe our ears," says Captain Midnight, one of the anonymous creators behind the clip. "When we found out that it was a real book and that FOX television was actually considering airing a special show around it, we started to imagine what the daily life of O.J. Simpson must be like and how that would play out as an episode of Fox's popular TV series The Simpsons."

The O.J. Simpson's parody clip, which has been online less than a week, has already been streamed thousands of times and appears to be picking up steam as word of mouth spreads in chat rooms and forums across the Internet.

"The first clip has two versions," stated Midnight. "The first version is short and to the point. The longer version features many darker situations, including a visit to Simpson by an animated Fred Goldman, the father of one of O.J. Simpson's alleged victims."

The clip is just one of a series of clips that Captain Midnight and his crew have planned for the parody. A special holiday episode will be released in late December, so stay tuned.
