TrainCaster LMS today announced the release of v3.39, the latest in a series of software upgrades designed to better support its clients.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) February 1, 2006 -- TrainCaster LMS, a leading provider of Learning Management Software, today announced the release of v3.39, the latest in a series of software upgrades designed to better support its clients.

The latest upgrades include:
- a new course survey feature
- tracking of on-the-job training records
- inclusion of custom data fields on training reports.

These features give trainers the flexibility to:
- track/receive valuable feedback from trainees
- track many types of training
- report on the custom data fields that have been setup to support each client's reporting needs.

"TrainCaster LMS is dedicated to giving our clients the tools they need to get the job done in short order," states Grace Sharp, director of marketing. "We actively solicit feature requests from our clients and use that information as a basis for performing upgrades throughout the year. Rather than performing one or two upgrades, we continually work our way through our request list, installing new features as we go. This means our clients don't have to wait to get the new features that they need to make their jobs easier. Typically we perform 10-12 upgrades per year."

TrainCaster LMS has a long history of client-driven software development dating back to the origins of the company. The precursors to the LMS were developed in 1997 for specific clients who needed to deliver and track courses via the Web with the features and functions dictated by real-world users of the system. As the LMS evolved and diversified, the development methods have stayed the same.

"We look to our clients first when determining how to enhance and upgrade the software. We are very responsive to our clients needs, helping them implement innovative training solutions and solving any business or reporting issues that may arise," states Lynn Stockdale, vice president of marketing.

Because TrainCaster LMS uses the ASP model, all new features and enhancements are available immediately and can be evaluated with a 30-day trial license.
