An active golfer's vacation at Northern California's top golf school in an area that offers outstanding outdoor activities with the amenities of the wine country.

(PRWEB) February 7, 2006 -- Some folks like to lounge by the pool on their vacation, while others enjoy a more active approach to their vacation time. It’s the latter Kris Moe and his golf programs has in mind. For the pro-active vacationer the wine country is packed with activities to do; single track mountain biking, tennis, hiking, Russell Racing School, Ramekin’s Culinary Institute and for golf a classic style golf course, Sonoma Golf Club, home to the Schwab Cup, where Tom Watson won in dramatic fashion in late October 2005.

One unique aspect of the Kris Moe Golf Schools is Kris Moe himself. He is a seasoned tournament golfer, winemaker, and outdoor enthusiast.

He brings to his teaching the added value of actual PGA Tour experience garnered on the U.S. PGA Tour and European PGA Tours in the 1980's and still plays competitively in select events on the Canadian and Spano's professional circuits.

His professional career highlights include a 25th place finish in the 1985 British Open, a 3rd place finish in the Australian PGA, and winner of the 2003 Northern California PGA Stroke and Match-Play championships, and the 2003 Hawaii State Open. He has played four times in the ATT Pro-Am at Pebble Beach. Some notable students who have enhanced their game with Kris Moe include actor Samuel L. Jackson, Tommy Smothers, numerous corporate CEOs and current Japanese PGA Tour star Shingo Katayama.

About Kris Moe Golf Schools

Kris Moe Golf Schools has been a premiere golf school in Northern California since 1995. It is centered at the Sonoma Golf Club (a semi-private course, and home to the Champion’s Tour Schwab Cup finale). The course was built 80 years ago by Willie Watson and Sam Whiting, architects who also gave the game such lasting golf courses as the Olympic Club, site of numerous US Open championships, and Harding Park, a premier public course in San Francisco that has hosted most recently the PGA Tour’s Tour Championship, won by Tiger Woods. While the Kris Moe Golf School operates all year in Sonoma, it also accommodates corporate groups and individuals in Arizona, Hawaii and Mexico.

All packages are available at the Kris Moe Golf Schools web site. For more information, or to talk with Kris Moe, please contact him at 707-939-0523.
