Gold Medalist Nate Holland uses the latest technology from adidas Eyewear in his gold Yodai goggles to win against the best boarder cross racers in the world, and is favored to win Gold at the Olympics.

Aspen, CO (PRWEB) February 11, 2006 -- Three-time X-Games medallist Nate Holland smashed the field of Olympic snowboarders in the Boarder X Finals in Winter X-Games Ten wearing the latest in high-performance goggle technology from adidas Eyewear.

Sporting the new gold-framed Yodai goggle with a dual-spherical gold-mirrored twin lens, Nate put the adidas technology right where it belongs -- first to the finish line and at the top of the podium. His Yodai goggles feature adidas’ exclusive zero-distortion Spherical Vision Advantage lens that provides unrivalled vertical and horizontal field of vision.

The Yodai’s high-contrast lens technology and frame shape allows me to see everything on the course and at my sides, which is super-important when racing against other competitors, they never fog, and the mirrored lens keeps my competition guessin.
“These are the best goggles ever for racing Boarder X,” stated Holland after receiving the second gold medal of his X-Game career. “The Yodai’s high-contrast lens technology and frame shape allows me to see everything on the course and at my sides, which is super-important when racing against other competitors, they never fog, and the mirrored lens keeps my competition guessin.”

Nate made it to the finals of the X-Games Boarder X competition besting a field stacked with Olympic snowboarders. Many expect the same competitors to fill the starting gate in the medal-deciding event at the Winter Olympics in Torino on February 18th.

“We couldn’t be happier with the results of our athletes at the X-Games,” said Ron Muehlboeck, Global Marketing Director for adidas Eyewear. “And Nate is the perfect guy to be wearing our new gold goggles as Snowboard Cross makes its debut at the Olympics. We feel this is definitely a case of world-class vision bringing world-class results.”

The Yodai goggles by adidas Eyewear feature Twin Lens technology, with a front Poly Carbonate (PC) lens mated to a Cellulose Propionate (CP) lens, providing 100% UV protection, antifog coating, and a scientifically designed, X-Game proven Ventilation System.

Other unique features of the Yodai goggles include a Quick Change Lens System, RX-able Performance Insert compatibility, fully padded soft face foam, Siliconized Straps, helmet compatibility and many more fine features.
