Westbury, NY (PRWEB) February 13, 2006 -- Scott Sobel, president and founder of Surftoneamerica.com announces the launch of the first website to package music from the top surf guitar bands in the world and offered as downloadable ringtones. After a long and arduous submittal process, the bands selected to launch the site were chosen because their music stayed true to the surf guitar sounds of Dick Dale and The Ventures but also brought a fresh and new interpretation to the genre.

We are pleased to announce the charter band lineup to Surftoneamerica.com. The Aqua Velvets, The Eliminators, The Reventlos, Susan and the Surftones, The Insect Surfers, The Atlantics, The Breakaways,3 Balls of Fire, The Big Surf, The Dirt Surfers    Surftoneamerica.com is part of Scott Entertainment a programming supplier to the broadcast industry for over 20 years. In 1999 the company partnered with Indie Filmmaker Bruce Brown to represent his library of surf films which included the seminal "The Endless Summer". It's considered to be the first film about the sport of surfing to appeal to mainstream audiences. First released in 1964 "The Endless Summer" still holds a special place in the hearts and minds of surfers and non surfers.

The music on our site is exciting; it swings and evokes the surf band era of the 1960's in southern california. To now hear it in ringtone form is quite amazing and very cool indeed
