The Revolutionary Language Instruction Method That’s Proven to Work

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 16, 2006 -- Dr. Robert Blair has been studying, teaching and experimenting with foreign languages for nearly five decades. In the course of his work, he noticed a disturbing pattern among students: despite years of study, they were unable to recall most of what they learned. He set about addressing this problem by devising the ideal teaching method in order to enable retention and revamp teaching methods which typically revolved around grammar drills and rote memorization. By combining the very best teaching methodologies he developed, Dr. Blair’s unique and proven-effective “In No Time” instruction method was born.

DR. BLAIR’S GERMAN IN NO TIME (Gildan Audio; $17.98 US; $23.98 Canada) offers an engaging and demonstrated method to learn the German language. In just three CDs and a feature-filled reference and practice CD-ROM, Dr. Blair teaches listeners how to speak a new language in no time. Each “Dr. Blair’s In No Time” program brings the listener to a locale where their language of choice is spoken. An engaging scenario unfolds as listeners are enlisted as undercover spies who must quickly learn the language in order to pass themselves off as native speakers and complete the mission. This method provides a context for using German or any of the other Dr. Blair programs in actual situations; develops vocabulary in entertaining challenges; and accelerates language learning exponentially. Learning a language with Dr. Blair’s method puts one into the culture and surroundings of each language.

About the Author:
Dr. Robert Blair has taught over 48 languages in his five decades as a linguist. Recognizing that many students who had studied a language for years remembered very little, he developed his own methodologies to correct this problem. Based on the latest understanding of linguistics and a bit of psychology, Dr. Blair created what he called the Power-Glide Method; after years of successful use in the home schooling market, his technique is now available in stores for the very first time.

About the “Dr. Blair In No Time” Audiobooks:
Originally available only to the home-schooling market, Gildan Audio began publishing Dr. Blair’s “In No Time” language learning audiobooks in January 2005. There are currently 7 languages available in the series: Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Ingles, and German.

Gildan Audio is a division of Gildan Media Corporation, a multimedia publisher of books, audiobooks and software. Gildan Audio titles are distributed to the trade by Time Warner Book Group, a division of Time Warner, Inc.
