Sponsorship Opportunities are Now Available for the First Coast Pride Festival in Jacksonville, Florida on August 6, 2006

The First Coast Pride Festival in Jacksonville, Florida provides a wonderful opportunity for you to tap into one of the strongest niche markets in the nation that many others have already discovered. Your company will reach virtually the entire North Florida and South Georgia Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and GLBT friendly community at one event!

Jacksonville, Fl (PRWEB) February 20, 2006 -- Official sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 28th annual First Coast Pride Festival to be held at the beautiful Sea Walk Pavilion of Jacksonville Beach on Sunday, August 6, 2006. This year, we are expecting to attract a record high of over 20,000 individuals.

This great outdoor event will include live entertainment from the main stage, vendor marketplace, fun, food and games, beach activities and a children’s play area. We are also introducing the new Festival Expo, an interactive activities pavilion containing side-line entertainers, guest speakers, and creative workshops. Continuing with our tradition, the evening parade and block party will be held the weekend before the festival in the Historic Riverside area of Jacksonville proceeded by a week long of evening activities.

If this will be your first time sponsoring the First Coast Pride Festival, this will be a wonderful opportunity for you to tap into one of the strongest niche markets in the nation that many others have already discovered. Your company will reach virtually the entire North Florida and South Georgia Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and GLBT friendly community at one event! If this is not your fist time, we sincerely appreciate your continued support and will make every effort to give your organization the prominent exposure it deserves. Our main goal is to achieve equality through visibility.

It is no secret that Jacksonville has become the relocation hot-spot of the south. With hundreds of people moving into the North Florida area each and every week, our GLBT population has exploded. In fact, many non -GLBT individuals that have relocated here are accustomed to the popularity of the pride festivals and parades in their preceding areas. We welcome their support and participation! This community is extremely “brand loyal”, recognizes the importance of supporting companies, and has more disposable income. The median combined household income of gay couples is $65,000, nearly 65% higher than the 1999 U.S. median income of $40,800, according to a 2001 “Syracuse University, OpusComm Group, Society Study.” Participation in the First Coast Pride Festival is the best way of demonstrating your commitment to this community and provides a perfect opportunity to establish or reaffirm a strong link with this large market. No matter the size of your available advertising budget, there are many ways to contribute to Pride.
