Runaway Brandit, Inc. announces a new program that will assist small business owners and local nonprofits with becoming more profitable, more cause conscience and stronger in the marketplace.

San Diego, CA (PRWeb) February 18, 2006 – After an overwhelming interest in the Marketing Dollars for Scholars program, Runaway Brandit, Inc. announces the development of The Brandit for a Cause program. This new program will replace the Marketing Dollars for Scholars program. In addition, it will bring cause marketing within the San Diego community to a new level by giving business owners more cause marketing opportunities and by assisting more nonprofit organizations. The Brandit for a Cause program is expected to help raise at least $1,000,000 over the next few years to assist smaller nonprofits with their marketing and fundraising efforts. The overall goal is to help small business owners realize that they can afford to market their companies like the big guys and to promote and develop cause marketing opportunities within our communities.

“This new program is very simple - marketing does not need to be complicated. If every one does their part, the program will be very successful. Runaway Brandit has to continue to provide valuable services that get results for our clients, the nonprofit organization needs to promote Runaway Brandit as a service provider and offer a cause marketing package that has value - and of course - the business owner needs to leverage their cause marketing package.” says Tina Indalecio, CEO of Runaway Brandit, Inc.

The Brandit for a Cause program will allow business owners to donate 5% of their project fees to a local nonprofit and in exchange they will receive a charitable donation and a cause marketing package from that organization. Like the previous program, The Brandit for a Cause program gives the business owner the ability to build their brand through traditional and cause marketing methods and provides two tax benefits, one for business expenses and one for the charitable donation.
