Standing-room only audiences were thrilled by two nights of interactive comedy at Fells Point Corner Theater and Mobtown Theater. The troupe continues to tour the city of Baltimore throughout 2006.
Baltimore, Maryland (PRWEB) February 21, 2006 -- The Baltimore Improv Group (BIG) started off its 2006 Tour of Baltimore theaters with an overflowing New Year's Eve show at Fells Point Corner Theater. On February 3rd, BIG fans filled the Mobtown Theater.
Each BIG show features comedy scenes invented on the spot inspired by audience suggestions, similar to the television show Whose Line Is It, Anyway? The host prompts the audience with requests such as, "Please name a relationship between two people" or "What is a bad place to take a date?"
The interactive nature of the performances have made improv a hit with Baltimore audiences. "The public response has really blown us away," said BIG's President, Prescott Gaylord.
BIG's next 2006 Tour dates are:
- March 11th at The Top Floor
- March 31st at Mobtown Theater
- April 8th at the DC Comedy Festival
- April 29th at at The Top Floor
- May 20th at at the Baltimore Theater
- June 1st at the Baltimore Museum of Art
