National Association of System Administrators (NASA), a provider of third-party hardware and operating system maintenance support headquartered in Crystal Lake, Illinois, has been certified by Perry Johnson Registrars (PJR) for ISO 9001:2000 registration.

Crystal Lake, IL (PRWEB) February 22, 2006 -- John Blanchard, president and CEO of National Association of System Administrators, Inc., (NASA) has announced that the company has been certified by Perry Johnson Registrars (PJR™) for ISO 9001:2000 registration.

“I believe that by going through the process of becoming certified, we have distinguished ourselves from our competitors as a provider of higher quality services to our customers,” said Blanchard. “I would challenge other maintenance organizations to follow our example.”

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a global network that identifies what International Standards are required by business, government and society, develops them in partnership with the sectors that will put them to use, adopts them by transparent procedures based on national input, and delivers them to be implemented worldwide.

Registration to ISO 9001:2000 provides objective proof that a business has implemented an effective quality management system, and that it satisfies all of the requirements of the applicable standard. An external, impartial expert called a registrar conducts an on-site audit to determine whether or not a company is in conformance to the standard. If the company is found to be in conformance, it is issued a certificate showing its address, scope of operations and the seals of the accreditation bodies that give the registrar its legitimacy.

NASA, which Blanchard founded in 1994, is a provider of third-party hardware and operating system maintenance support headquartered in Crystal Lake.

PJR is accredited by ANAB, RvA, TGA, UKAS, JAB, INMETRO
and SINCERT to register clients to ISO 9001:2000.
