“Small to mid-sized business sales transactions in California were up last month with franchise resales becoming more numerous,” according to Peter Siegel, Founder of BizBen.com & USABizMart.com, business for sale related websites and resources for small business owners, business buyers, and business advisors. Siegel goes on that, “there seems to be more Quiznos Sub Shops, Curves Women’s Fitness Centers on the market – more than usual lately.” Sales of small businesses throughout California dropped at the end of 2005 but definitely came back the first month of 2006, probably due to deals being delayed during the 2005 Holiday Season.
