(PRWEB) February 24, 2006 -- Power On Productions is bringing rock band The Fray along with Set Forth to play at Colorado State University in Moby Arena on Sunday, March 26, 2006. Billed as THE NIGHT, this event aims to bring about social change on campus and in the community.

In recent years, CSU students have experienced the tragic ramifications of poor choices first-hand. The death of Samantha Spady in 2004 alerted our campus and the community to the effects of peer pressure and destructive decisions. Now, the time has come for us to take a stand, and help each other to make healthier, more empowering choices for our lives.

Featuring the red-hot Denver band, The Fray, with the up-and-coming local stars, Set Forth, this event will pack Moby Arena with over 5,500 students and community members. THE NIGHT is the beginning of a new opportunity for CSU to host exciting, on-campus events that will keep our students closer to home, and will offer the chance to experience great entertainment in a safe, alcohol- and pressure-free environment. The Fray has been selling out across the country and their appearance at THE NIGHT will be no different. This will be a concert to remember!

Here is what concertgoers can expect to experience at THE NIGHT:

  • Doors open at 6 PM!
  • The first 1200 ticket-holders will get the floor seats
  • Local band Set Forth will open
  • Reza Zedah, former CSU football player and board member of the SAM Spady Foundation, will provide a brief, motivational message on the benefits of responsible living
  • A grand prize will be awarded to one lucky student
  • The Fray will rock out at Moby in a way never before seen
  • The Lighthouse, at 709 Wagner Street, will be hosting a substance free after party

Tickets go on sale Thursday, February 23rd at the CSU box office, the University Center for the Arts, all King Soopers locations, online through poweronproductions.com and by phone at 800.325.SEAT. Tickets are $22, CSU student tickets are $15 each + fees.

Enjoy THE NIGHT! THREE long years without music is over!
