Rise in Rate of Residents Learning Spanish in Major US States

Spanish software company reports an increase in demand to learn Spanish in Florida, North Carolina, Texas and Ohio for 2005 reflecting a possible increase of Spanish speaking residents in these states.

Ogden, UT (PRWEB) February 25, 2006 -- Visual Link Spanish, a learn Spanish software company, recently released sales demographic information that shows an increase in demand to learn Spanish in some major US states including: Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Visual Link Spanish speculates that this increase in demand for these states correlates to an increase in native Spanish speaking populations in the areas. The company’s owner, David S. Clark, explained that most the company’s sales occur online, where there is equal access across the US.

“Having most our customers come to us through the Search Engines online, we can see the true demand across the country to learn Spanish. Traffic from the Search Engines has no geographical limitations which allow us to see where the demand is high for Spanish.”

Visual Link Spanish noted the demand increase in these states during 2005 could have also been influenced by additional factors other than an increase in Spanish speaking populations. For example, companies who where actively seeking new Spanish speaking markets, could have influenced their employees to learn Spanish.

In this report, other states where demand to learn Spanish is high such as California, New York and Georgia where mentioned, but there was no significant increase in the demand during 2005.

States that showed a smaller but still noticeable increase for learning Spanish in 2005 included: Illinois, Colorado, Minnesota and Indiana.
