Orange County's Performer's Academy is off to Moscow & Paris to direct this feature for Imperia Entertainment starring Fay Dunaway and Musetta Vander

(PRWEB) March 2, 2006 -- Jeff Celentano, the Executive Director of Drama for Orange County’s Performer’s Academy is currently off to Moscow and Paris to direct the feature, “Say It In Russian” for Imperia Entertainment.

“This is an exciting event for this school and it’s students”, says Natalie Costa, owner. “How often can you or your children work with people from the entertainment industry that really work in the business? These are not wannabe’s, has-beens, or hopefuls. The fact that we have someone of Jeff’s caliper is truly a blessing. The downside is that we lose him from the school for several weeks, but the students reap the rewards from working with such a dedicated and talented director and acting coach.

O Brother Where Art Thou?) (
Jeff has an exciting cast to direct in this feature. The movie stars Steven Brand (“The Scorpion King”), in the leading role of Andrew. It’s the story of an American man who meets and falls in love with a Russian girl in Paris, then visits her in Moscow, where they get caught up in the father’s dangerous and potentially deadly situation.”

The esteemed cast includes Academy Award winner Faye Dunaway, acclaimed European actor Rade Sherbedgia (“Snatch”) (“Eyes Wide Shut”), Steven Berkhoff (“Surface”) playwright author and director and the very beautiful and talented Musetta Vander (“O Brother Where Art Thou?) (“Wild, Wild, West”) and (“What’s Up Scarlet”).

The students at The Performer’s Academy are anxiously awaiting his return. Many of them email the school daily with the hope of getting updates and behind the scenes information. Many will get to visit him on the set in LA when the shoot returns to the United States.

The Performer’s Academy is a school for acting and performing located in Laguna Hills, California. All of the coach’s sport resumes with real working credits. The programs are kept affordable to allow everyone the opportunity to take advantage of the arts.

The Performer’s Academy does have agents from Los Angeles that come to visit to scout the students. The Academy has no vested interest in anyone’s career – just a helpful hand in making the introductions and bragging rights when they land a job!

The school was created because of the difficulty the owner had in helping her daughter get an agent. She was sold useless portfolios and signed with incompetent managers who wasted her time and money.

The academy’s sole mission is to create a safe place where parents can bring their children, who will be taught by the absolute best teachers, all with a very affordable price tag.

The website hosts a class schedule as well as the resumes and headshots of the teaching staff.
