Paris-based Antonia Communication today announced it is supporting the Degrees of Separation project, an artistic venture for young and emerging designers linked to the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, by providing bandwidth, distribution intelligence and content to its creators and supporters.

Paris, France (PRWEB) March 3, 2006 -- Antonia Communication today announced it is supporting the Degrees of Separation project, an artistic venture for young and emerging designers linked to the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Founded by Samia Saleem and Tiffany Dantin from the aplural collective, the Degrees of Separation project aims at celebrating a city that was destroyed but also at welcoming one that is being built. Young, emerging designers have decided to gather around the creation of a postcard-based magazine, each contributing original works in their style of choice. Honoring the past, celebrating the future and showing the indestructible force of artistic creation: these are the objectives of the project.

Traditionally a friend of the Arts, known for supporting independent creators, Antonia Communication has, since its inception, been close to the people and businesses of New Orleans, where it accounts many friends and partners. In that light, it is happy to today support the Degrees of Separation project by donating bandwidth, providing distribution intelligence and contributing content, free of charge, to its members and supporters. In doing so, Antonia will help the project reach the critical mass it needs to achieve well-deserved recognition from the international creative community.

"Degrees of Separation is not only an aesthetically important project, it is an essential social contribution as the city of New Orleans once again raises from its ashes and starts its quest for a new identity." said FJ, Antonia's founder. "We at Antonia believe in designing with a cause, in using our tools for the collective good. What better occasion could there be to put our skills to the test?"

With its first issue already out and the deadline for the second one dangerously near, Degrees of Separation is bursting with talent and creativity, proof of the never-ending attraction New Orleans exerts over those who once lived there. Provocatively themed, internationally thought-through but still crafted by the designers themselves, volume #2 is shaping up to be a runaway hit and bring the project to a whole other level.

As a group, the AntoTeam is dedicated to working towards a better, more entertaining and more accepting world. Since its inception in early 2005, Antonia has strived to provide its customers with obscenely good service, the most effective campaigns and an unmatched look on cross-cultural marketing.
