World's Largest Guestbook

A young internet entrepreneur hopes to break a record. He's 15 and he has a goal in mind: to create the world's largest guestbook.

Statesville, NC (PRWEB) March 3, 2006 -- A bright idea on the internet can go a long way. Andy Laws, age 15, spends all his time creating and developing web projects. Laws's latest project is the world's largest guestbook. The project was announced on February 27th, 2006. He hopes his site, AddStuff.com, will one day be in the record books.

AddStuff.com was created to enable normal online users the access to participate in a record breaking attempt. "The idea behind it is simple," says Laws. "I am hoping online users will want to be involved in a record breaking attempt and will spread the message through word of mouth." He has not yet been able to reach the Guinness Book of World Records about his attempt.

Any brilliant idea brings a chance of failure. Laws has high hopes for his site and believes that failure will not be the result. "I don't see any reason why it should fail," he comments. "I have high expectations for this website and the sky is the limit for the number of entries it can receive."

It takes around one minute to create a comment and sign the guestbook. Laws made placing a valid email address mandatory so the guestbook can be checked for validity should a concern arise. Due to a concern of spam bots harvesting emails, an option has been enabled to hide email addresses. He believes that this should take care of all privacy concerns related to the guestbook entries.

"One day maybe I can create a book including all of the guestbook entries..." Laws pauses with a smile. "It would be interesting to read what each person wants to tell to the world in only 400 words."
