In this overview of building commercial-quality extensions for Eclipse RCP, the instructors don’t merely introduce the basics; they show how to add the sophistication and “polish” that end users demand. The presentation is based upon their best-selling book, “Eclipse: Building Commercial-Quality Plug-ins” (Addison-Wesley).

Overview of RCP GUI Building Tools for Eclipse
Eric Clayberg & Dan Rubel will present in convention center rooms 203 and 204. The 45 min. presentation explains how Eclipse users can create next generation applications using leading edge GUI building products with SWT and RCP. Attendees will learn the basics of the GUI development tools available for Eclipse and the specific features each offers for creating RCP applications.
