WSTS ’06 will investigate questions in a unique, interactive setting, including Sync requirements and solutions for the packet-based Next Generation Networks (NGN), Sync in wireless networks and emerging synchronization issues. The three-day interactive workshop will explore the need for Sync in the NGN and the possible solutions available. Network operators, strategists, design engineers, system architects and synchronization planners from the wireline, wireless, enterprise and utilities sectors will participate in interactive workshop sessions and panel discussions. The workshop has been taking place annually since 1992. ATIS and NIST have been collaborating as co-sponsors for eight years.
