Wheaton, IL (PRWEB) March 13, 2006 -- Jeff Suddeth teaches software development with the latest version of C# and the .NET platform in his new book, Programming C# with Visual Studio .NET 2005. The book begins with the fundamentals of the C# language, hitting on some of the newest features added with .NET 2.0. Later, the book focuses on user interface programming, then database programming, and other advanced topics.

Jeff Suddeth formerly taught computer programming courses at Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. His programming experience goes back to the age of twelve, when he would type computer games from the backs of magazines. His love of teaching and writing, as well as his fascination with .NET technologies lead him to write his first book.

That is understandable, but it makes it difficult for new writers to publish. I published the book myself so that I could do it my way and get my perspective out there. I also learned a lot about the publishing industry along the way. This has been very exciting for me.
He self-published Programming C# with Visual Studio .NET 2005 through lulu.com so that he could so that he could focus his attentions on writing instead of writing proposals and then waiting months to see if publishing companies would get back to him. The book is available for purchase through the author’s store front on lulu.com and soon will be available through other major book retailers.

“Many computer book publishing companies have formats that they want to stick with because they have brand recognition,” The author says. “That is understandable, but it makes it difficult for new writers to publish. I published the book myself so that I could do it my way and get my perspective out there. I also learned a lot about the publishing industry along the way. This has been very exciting for me.”
