FunFilledFact.com is an online "anti-encyclopedia" where Truth is frowned upon and creativity rules.
Duluth, GA (PRWEB) March 15, 2006 -- A new web site called "Fun Filled Facts" is positioning itself as the "anti-encyclopedia", and is opening it's pages to anyone, anywhere, to contribute their own content -- true, or false.
Chihuahua's are made of cheese? According to Fun-Filled Facts, they are!
Bob Precision, the web site's creator describes Fun-Filled Facts as "a worldwide exercise in creative writing and mis-information." Anyone with an Internet connection and an idea -- no matter how crazy -- can add or edit entries in any subject imaginable, without the pressure of being accurate in any way, shape or form.
"It gets extremely silly, and that's the point." says Precision. "Because anyone can contribute or even CHANGE what's on the site, the possibilites are literally endless, and the entertainment value is significant."
Built on the same sophisticated content-management software as the well-known "Wikipedia" online encyclopedia, users are allowed to create new entries, as well as cross-reference existing entries, add images, and more.
There is no charge for the service, and Precision notes that "Once you get started adding entries, it gets very addictive. You'll be writing all day and sending your friends to get in on the action."
