The new release, "People Like Us" (pOprOck Records), was recently honored by the Southern California Music Awards with a Best Band nomination.The album was produced by Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, Sleater-Kinney, The Decemberists) and Arrica Rose at Wave Lab in Tuscon, Arizona. The eclectic mix of the album with melodic indie-rock and a hint of alt-country is the fourth release for Arrica Rose and the first full length CD for Arrica Rose & the ...'s.
The Los Angeles band has been creating a buzz with their unique style of play and Arrica Rose's "smokey vocals.... .which have the ability to make your heart stop," says Performer Magazine.
