tBlog’s™ “Suggestive” Network Poses Threat To Myspace™ and Similar Social Networks’ Dominance Of Online Community

tBlog’s recently launched tMatch™ “Thought Matching” system sparks 20% increased user rate and raises questions about community networks.

Los Angeles (PRWEB) March 14, 2006 -- Purely “Social” networks such as Myspace.com™, and Friendster.com’s™ dominance of online communities are being threatened by upstart “Suggestive” network, tBlog.com™. tBlog has seen a recent user spike of 20% in the wake of launching its revolutionary tMatch™ “Thought Matching” system, which brings users together based upon the whole of their profile and blogs, matching similar personalities based upon likes, dislikes, hobbies and life outlooks.

Unlike previously established networks like Myspace.com™, which is a purely “social” network – meaning that user to user interaction is based upon mutual friends or random encounters - tBlog offers a wholly integrated community where every aspect of a user profile is utilized to offer new networks to that user. From favorite bands to the topics and phraseology within blog postings, tBlog’s tMatch system is looking for ways to make connections. Here is what one of the users had to say about their results.

“I'm a pastor, and matters of religion and faith are important to me. But I think I take an interesting perspective on such issues and I have interests in other issues that I will blog about, including culture and politics and humor. I was skeptical about t-match; I was pretty sure it would connect me with conservative religious bloggers. I get enough of that type of connection with my away from t-blog life. I am pleased that t-match appears indeed to be a little more sophisticated than my preconceptions. It has suggested for me some interesting and wide-ranging bloggers, who share with me an interest in several matters.”

tBlog founders, Taylor Bayouth and Nick Morley, have developed the site with those specific goals in mind.

“As users become increasingly aware of Myspace’s lack of content, a backlash could be imminent,” said tBlog Founder Taylor Bayouth. “People are starting to realize that there isn’t much past collecting friends, five of whom they actually communicate with. Myspace and Friendster may offer collectible friends, but they are woefully short on meaningful data.”

tMatch was launched on February 14, 2006, and is in full operation on www.tblog.com.
