Dental Marketing of Invisible Braces Makes General Practice a Top Producer

Dental marketing organization dedicated to helping dentists grow their practices forms in response to one dentist’s successful actions.

Houtson, TX (PRWEB) March 15, 2006 -- Since the restriction on general dental practitioners doing invisible aligner treatments was lifted after a court case in 2001, close to 30,000 dentists in the U.S. and worldwide have been certified to straighten teeth with invisible braces. However, a significant percentage of these doctors in the U.S. is not taking full advantage of this lucrative technology to grow their practices, due in part to the fact that they do not have a Dental Marketing plan for this service.

Invisible braces aren’t braces in the traditional sense. There is no metal, and, in fact, there’s nothing you can see – just a series of clear, colorless plastic aligners that straighten your teeth. They offer an alternative for many patients who would not otherwise get orthodontic services. One certified dentist, a general practitioner from Houston, has proven that with the right dental marketing, these braces can be a recipe for success.

“I had been using cosmetic dentistry procedures to straighten teeth,” says Dr. Willis Pumphrey. “As invisible braces are a much less invasive treatment, I saw that it could be a valuable and easy add-on service for a general dental practice.”

Dr. Pumphrey increased his practice by 40 percent over a three-year period and became the number one producer in the U.S. for invisible braces – doing up to 100 cases per quarter. To the best of his knowledge, no other doctor has consistently reached this volume.

In response to the many dentists who ask him to share the secret to his success, he formed StraightWay Cosmetic Dental Affiliates (CDA) – an organization dedicated to helping dentists grow their practices through special training and marketing of this dental service.

“The idea of StraightWay is doctors helping doctors,” says Dr. Pumphrey. “It’s not a case of changing what a successful practice is already doing. We help doctors add this successful product line to their normal flow of dental work. We want to help other doctors have the same success we have had.”

StraightWay offers a dental marketing and training plan specifically for invisible braces, so that any dentist can implement the successful actions that catapulted Dr. Pumphrey’s practice into the top provider of invisible braces in the world.
