New Skin Care Products Kill Germs and Bacteria for Hours

PureAdvantage Team is an Independent Distributor of PureWorks, a company based on technology that protects people. Our tag line "Protected by PureWorks" says it all. We are not only interested in protecting people, our mission is to eradicate viruses, and harmful spores, bacteria, and fungus from the planet, in an effort to enhance and contribute quality of life to the human condition. We believe that if every person on the planet would utilize our technology we would accomplish our mission and be successful in our goals.

Provo, UT (PRWEB) March 22, 2006 -- PureAdvantage Team is proud to represent PureWorks, developers and manufacturers of these non-toxic, alcohol-free products exhibit exceptional antibacterial activity. They are gentle to the skin and do not sting or irritate when used to clean and treat minor cuts and scrapes. In fact, both of these products comply with or exceed all requirements set forth by the US Food and Drug Administration for antibacterial first aid antiseptics. PureWorks’ Antibacterial Foam, Antibacterial Spray, and Antimicrobial Lotion help protect against bacterial contamination and help guard against the risk of infection.

Nearly all disease is caused by germs that are spread from hand to surface, to mouth. Thus when one friend or family member gets sick so does the household, the office, the school, the nursery, the church. How do we stop it? To stop the spread of harmful germs, bacteria and viruses we must make the hands a killing field and stop the transfer of germs from one person to another, from counter tops, telephones, doorknobs, banisters, elevator buttons, and computer keys. That task may be impossible, certainly daunting. Regardless of the size of the task we now have the technology to do it.

--PureWorks’ Antibacterial Foam and Spray represent a break through technology for fighting infection

--Kills 99.99% of bacterial and other harmful germs that cause illness and infection.

--Persistent - Continues to protect your skin for hours after application. Alcohol evaporates and is no longer effective. PureWorks will hang around to kill pathogens

--FDA compliant as both a First-aid Antiseptic and Healthcare Professional hand sanitizer.

--Strong antibacterial health claims allowed, as described in 21CFR333.

--No-rinse application for foams and sprays.

--Contains no antibiotic compounds like Triclosan. This addresses the growing issue of creating super bugs like M.R.S.A. that are resistant to antibiotics

--Alcohol free so it does not dry out the hands
The active ingredient has been tested and found to be non-toxic, non-carcinogenic

--The formula has no strong scent

The active ingredient in both the foam and the lotion is benzethonium chloride, recognized world-wide as a safe and effective antimicrobial compound. This “fourth-generation” quaternary ammonium compound is gentle to the skin while being tough on bacteria. Unlike many of the alcohol-based hand sanitizers on the market today, PureWorks’ Antibacterial Foam and Antibacterial Spray are alcohol free. Rather than drying or irritating the skin, PureWorks’ products soften and condition the skin while providing hours of lasting protection against bacteria and harmful germs that cause illness.

The patent pending formulas developed for these products overcome the many limitations of the currently available alcohol based antibacterial products. Alcohol has several limitations and negative side effects, including:

--Alcohol removes all oils from the skin

--Without essential skin oils, the skin will dry, leading to cracking and bleeding of the skin

--Alcohol evaporates, which can cause respiratory distress

--Alcohol is absorbed by the skin into the body

--Alcohol is flammable

--Because alcohol evaporates so readily, it is only effective for a few seconds

Persistence is the ability of an antibacterial compound to continue to destroy pathogens after the initial application. The active ingredient in PureWorks formulas will persist for hours, killing unwanted pathogens.

Use of either the PureWorks’ Antibacterial Foam or Antibacterial Spray is not intended to replace hand washing. Frequent hand washing helps remove dirt and oils that accumulate on the skin. The Foam and Spray are intended to be used following hand washing, to help guard against the risk of infection and to ameliorate the negative skin effects of frequent washing. Repeated use of these products between washing leaves treated skin feeling soft and smooth. Unique emollients have also been incorporated into the formulation to enhance the skin’s vitality and good health. In fact, most consumers find that the skin-conditioning attributes of these products are the primary reason they apply them repeatedly between washings.

Whether used for their cosmetic or medical attributes, the PureWorks’ Antibacterial Foam, Antibacterial Spray and Antimicrobial Lotion help guard against the risk of infection while conditioning and moisturizing the skin.
