Spices.Net 5.0 Provides .NET Developers with Advanced Capabilities for Analysis, Decompilation, and Protection of .NET Assemblies

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) March 30, 2006 -- 9Rays.Net, a Microsoft Partner Program member and a renowned developer of .NET, VCL and ActiveX components, today announces the unveiling of Spices.Net 5.0 PreRelease. This is a suite of components that gives developers a winning combination of abilities, including obfuscation, decompilation to six languages, documentation management services, modeling and analytical features. With Spices.Net in place, you can apply a professional approach to protection, research and reverse engineering of .NET assemblies. Version 5.0 builds on the success of the previous release that was recognized as MSD2D People’s Choice Award Winner in the .NET Tools-Code category in 2005.

What’s new in version 5.0?
Version 5.0 introduces numerous additions and enhancements that make a great product even better. Among them is a task-oriented functionality that allows you to set priority, suspend/resume, and occur progress in the Task Manager for each task. Now, each plug-in has a range of tasks that can work together. For example, you can obfuscate and decompile simultaneously. New Spices.Solution (.ilosln) allows you to work with collections of Spices.Projects, this includes browsing, obfuscating, decompiling and modeling. Additionally, you will discover an ability to handle unmanaged assembles, a more convenient and informative browser, and a new Informer Bar. There’s also an ability to customize the look and feel of Spices.Net using one of the visual modes, such as OfficeXP, Office2003, and VS2005.

In the new release, the company has also enhanced Spices.Decompiler, which includes Visual Decompiler tool for creating code flow diagrams, and Spices.Obfuscator, which enables checking the consistency of project assemblies before obfuscation. substitution generation. Thanks to the substitution generation it is possible to define your own custom characters definition. There are also new predefined combined dictionaries in options and an ability to create more chaos by setting MixDictionary = true to create a new, randomly mixed dictionary for each obfuscation. What’s more, Spices.Obfuscator now supports about ten various obfuscation events, you can run some tasks in the process of obfuscation. Other new features include embedded localization, a possibility of simultaneous obfuscation of different Spices.Projects, on-the-fly localization, automatic obfuscation and these are just a few improvements to mention!”
