Professional Organizers Can Help Save Time and Money

The Urban Organizer, Ltd. attends the National Association of Professional Organizers 2006 Annual Conference.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 6, 2006 -- You have seen them on TV. You have read about them in the paper. Professional Organizers provide an invaluable service to time-crunched home and business owners. Whether it is your garage, closets, business paper or computer files, memorabilia, or any other area where you feel overwhelmed, a professional organizer can provide ideas, information, structure, systems, and solutions that can increase your productivity, reduce stress, and lead to more control over time, space, and activities.

The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), celebrating 21 years as “The Organizing Authority®,” represents more than 3,600 experts in organizing solutions for individuals and businesses. Local professional organizer Lorri LoGrande, of The Urban Organizer, Ltd., recently returned recently from NAPO’s 2006 Annual Conference, where she enhanced her professional organizing skills and was able to view and rate the newest organizational products on the market. “My attendance at this year’s conference was invaluable and great organizational tips were shared by all. Of growing concern to my clients is the impact of identity theft. Here are my top tips for protecting yourself and your business from becoming a victim of identity theft.”

1. Shred all confidential materials including paper, CDs, and floppies.
2. Create and protect passwords by using combinations of upper and lower case letters, symbols and numbers. Use different passwords and change them frequently.
3. Don’t print unnecessary information on bank checks such as your social security number.
4. Review your credit report regularly. You are entitled to one free copy per year. Visit www.AnnualCreditReport.com, powered by the Federal Trade Commission, for more information.
