Montreal, QC (PRWEB) April 11, 2006 -- Silanis Technology, the industry’s most experienced electronic signature provider, today announced that the company’s co-founder and vice-president will speak at the International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRM) Strategies 2006 Conference and Exposition in Washington, DC.

Michael Laurie, who is a frequent presenter at many financial and government conferences, will discuss how electronic signatures can bridge gaps in HR automation to reduce operational costs, improve employee service, and ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

Mr. Laurie will review the legal, IT and user requirements needed to eliminate paper from HR and onboarding processes, as well as illustrate how employees and new-hires can electronically review and sign documents over the web. "Our customers use our electronic signature solutions on an enterprise-wide basis and human resources is the most common area targeted for automation," states Michael Laurie, "By implementing electronic signatures within onboarding, benefits, and employee review processes, the experience for new and existing employees is vastly improved. And the employer benefits by increasing the rate of hiring and retaining the best employees."
