Entrepreneur Launches Set for a Year

A young entrepreneur provides a solution to greeting card dilemma with a year's worth of cards in a box. Set For a Year is a venture in a slightly different direction for Amy Turner who's committed to following her heart.

Set For a Year offers a card for every occasion in one year's time—12 birthday cards, seven holiday cards, seven sooner or later cards, six encouragement cards, and five each of thank you cards, whimsical cards, appreciation cards and blank inside cards. The initial set is “fresh from Albuquerque” and includes a “made in” statement unique to each card. Set For a Year sells for $39.95 plus shipping and handling.

Turner, who has owned and operated Simplified Graphic Studio, LLC and Zip-It Local Advertising in Albuquerque for the past six years discussed the concept. “Think about how many times you stop for a greeting card in a year’s time,” she said. “In my own family I have 36 opportunities. And the pace we live is faster than ever. So we’ve put all the cards you need, use, and send. One box and you’re Set for a Year!”

Set for a Year Box #2 is now in design and is expected to be released in August. Highlights of the upcoming card crusade will post on the website; the card crusade features a visit to each state and a card designed there. In addition, Turner is also planning a Set Abroad.
