Burbank, CA (PRWEB) April 16, 2006 -- World Arena Rugby Union, LLC (“WAR”) announce the termination of their Memorandum of Understanding with Zuma Beach Entertainment, Inc. (“ZUMA”)

WAR announces that on April 7th, 2006 what once was a promising relationship has been dissolved.

WAR reversed the action that would have made the company a wholly owned subsidiary of ZUMA. Based on several mitigating factors WAR has elected to terminate the Memorandum of Understanding between the two entities. WAR looks forward to working with ZUMA in the future as it relates to production & distribution of licensed video products.

WAR is a privately held Company that owns, operates and manages all aspects of the new sports league, World Arena Ruby Union.

Our new sport is known for its irreverent "kill-the-man-with-the-ball" style, will be hitting the scene next year with 6 teams and a planned international expansion. The game showcases 14 of the toughest men on earth battling for 52 minutes in a seven-a-side version of rugby, on artificial turf within the confines of an indoor arena. It is a rough, physically demanding, electrifyingly entertaining, and above all fan-friendly sport.

The sports industry is $375B business. Sponsorship spending in sports is larger than the U.S. Banking Industry, Auto Industry or the Transportation Industry. According to the Street and Smith Sports Journal, annual spending for sports advertising is $25B.
