Entrepreneurial Education - There's a New Kid in Town!

Universities and colleges are realizing the need to offer programs for entrepreneurs. Cleary University just threw their hat into the ring with a new program to educate entrepreneurs. What are you doing to educate your entrepreneur?

Ann Arbor, MI (PRWEB) April 18, 2006 -- A new degree program will be available this at Cleary University this fall. For the first time, Cleary will be offering a bachelor’s program in business administration in entrepreneurship. This program will allow participants to design their business idea from the start to the finish.

The exciting aspect to this program is the practical education. Students will learn how to build their business in creative and innovative ways as well as learning negotiating and financing skills. In the end, graduates will walk away with not only the traditional foundation of a business and marketing degree, but also an individualized, hands-on training in entrepreneurship.

Cleary University is part of a growing trend across the country to provide some sort of entrepreneurial training. The government is supportive of this trend as a way to help stimulate the economy. Corporate employees perceive the value as they see their job security and pensions slipping away. The University of Akron, Brigham Young University, University of Colorado, North Carolina State University, and the University of Houston are just a few of the places offering entrepreneurial programs.

You don’t need to wait until a student is ready for college to think about being an entrepreneur. Begin to instill entrepreneurial virtues at a young age. Look for avenues for them start business ventures and take reasonable risks. Have them read books where the entrepreneur is the hero. Let them mentor with people of integrity who are successful entrepreneurs. There are many more ways to educate your entrepreneur.
