Mireth Technology Corp. announced today a new release of iVCD, its digital video software for Mac OS X. This version adds DVD burning and is a Universal Binary which will run on both Mac PowerPC and on the new Intel Mac (MacIntel). iVCD version 3 is available as a software download or on CD-ROM, starting at $29.95 (US).

Vancouver, Canada (PRWEB) April 18, 2006 -- Mireth Technology Corp. has released a Universal Binary version of iVCD, its Mac OS X video burning software. Version 3.0 of iVCD, now runs native on both Mac Power PC and on the new Intel Mac (MacIntel) under Mac OS X. This version also adds DVD burning capability.

"What's really important about software development is implementing the features your customers ask for," said Donna Johnson, President. "That's what we've done with the addition of DVD burning and what we will continue to do in the future."

iVCD is easy to use, full featured VCD, SVCD and DVD authoring software for Mac that can burn VCD, SVCD, DVD and more from most video formats such as iMovie and Quicktime movie files, as well as from AVI, Divx, and Xvid. iVCD was designed specifically to be both full featured and easy to use, so that users can enjoy a full range of digital video authoring features all in one software product. Originally designed to burn VCDs, iVCD has evolved to include burning SVCDs and now DVDs.

Besides its ease of use, iVCD also offers many unique features, such as maintaining a project folder so that a project can be made in stages and so that additional copies of a project can be made without having to start again from the input files. iVCD also offers Video Rescue features such as the lighten video slider to correct video that's too dark, and the TV Safe Border effect to correct video that appears clipped on a TV screen. In addition, iVCD allows the user to make specialty video such as looping VCD, SVCD and DVD for use in Kiosks and retail outlets, hybrid movie/music VCDs, and VCDs that will Autorun on Windows.

Pricing and Availability

iVCD is available for immediate download, or on CD-ROM, starting at $29.95. Upgrade pricing is available for registered users of previous versions of iVCD. Educational pricing and volume discounts are available. iVCD runs on Mac OS X. For more information, visit www.mireth.com/pub/ivme.html
