Ferndale Boys & Girls Club teams up with PRWEB to hold online auction hosted by cMarket to raise funds for programs.
This is an extremely exciting way for people to become involved in helping us serve a tremendous amount of young people and bid on some truly fantastic items!

Ferndale, WA (PRWEB) April 28, 2006 -- Beginning May 1st the Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County, Ferndale Branch will officially open up its online auction, hosted by cMarket to benefit over 1400 kids they currently serve. The online auction, presented by PRWeb, will run through May 31st and will feature some spectacular items up for auction that help raise necessary funds for the Club’s operational budget.

By simply going to the Club’s online auction site, http://ferndaleauction.cmarket.com bidders will be able to easily make bids for kids, knowing that the fantastic items they’re bidding on will directly help further the mission of the Boys & Girls Club: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The Ferndale Club currently serves 1471 Members in and around Ferndale, located in the northwest corner of Washington State.

Josh Wilund, Director of the Ferndale Branch commented, “This is an extremely exciting way for people to become involved in helping us serve a tremendous amount of young people and bid on some truly fantastic items!” The event will be tied in with the Club’s actual live auction event scheduled for June 3rd, 2006. PRWEB has graciously stepped up as the presenting sponsor of the Ferndale Club’s first online auction.

Featured in the auction are a wide range of amazing and exotic vacations, great seats at Seattle Mariners and Seahawks games, catered European feasts for eight people by local executive chefs and restaurants, and many other wonderful tangible and practical items that the bidder really has to see to appreciate.

Vacations include trips to Bend, OR for stays at the Mt. Bachelor Village, stays at Whistler/Blackcomb Condos, a week at the Conde Nast Gold List Members In Tremblant & Montreal, and a week in a deluxe Idaho resort cabin near the beautiful new Tamarack Ski Resort!

Other items featured are excellent golf items and rounds at beautiful Washington courses as well as a framed/signed Phil Mickelson Masters photograph, spectacular furniture and northwest wine racks, quality camping gear, and even a beautiful handcrafted wood canoe.

Participants can help in other ways as well; the Ferndale Club will also be accepting donations of items to the online auction. It is the perfect opportunity to help out a great cause by donating quality items to be displayed in the Auction. It’s also a great way to be recognized for helping kids, as each donor is recognized on the page featuring their item.
