Burlington County businesses are invited to hear a discussion about the NJ SmartStart Buildings Program
Lumberton, NJ (PRWEB) April 7, 2006 -- The Greater Lumberton Business Association will provide a brief presentation of the NJ SmartStart Buildings Program on Tuesday, April 11th, 2006 at 5:00pm at the Runway Café in Lumberton, NJ, 68 Stacy Haines Rd, Lumberton, NJ. The speaker will be Mr. Ronald M. Maslo, P.E. Members and non-members are invited.
The NJ SmartStart Buildings Program is funded under the NJ Clean Energy Act and is an Incentive program, not a rebate, for all Commercial or Industrial (i.e. non-residential) customers of the gas and electric utilities in the state of New Jersey. It provides up to $100K/Account/Year to energy users who install energy efficient equipment in new construction, rehabilitation and equipment replacement projects.
Mr. Maslo will be discussing the availability of state grant money for businesses, schools and government buildings that perform various energy efficiencies. You will find out how you can become eligible. An overview of the program and instruction regarding project qualification and application procedures will be presented.
This is a free presentation open to businesses in the Lumberton, Hainesport, Mount Laurel, Medford, Eastampton, Southampton, Westampton, and Mount Holly areas.

The Greater Lumberton Business association was formed to share information and knowledge, create a community of business owners and business managers, and conduct productive monthly meetings in the greater Lumberton area. It is an organization that represents and speaks for business owners, but cares about and considers the needs of the community. It accepts memberships from businesses in Lumberton, Hainesport, Mount Laurel, Medford, Mount Holly, Eastampton, Southampton, and Westampton.
