Planeta.com Launches Tourism Marketing Survey with Spotlight on Ecotourism and Responsible Travel

Planeta.com invites tourism professionals to participate in a candid review of tourism promotion around the world.

(PRWEB) May 3, 2006 -- Planeta.com invites tourism professionals to participate in a candid review of tourism promotion around the world.

The survey is created to show how satisfied tourism professionals are with tourism promotion at the national and international levels. How do they rank government campaigns and websites? Do they know which PR firms handle the government accounts? And do they have suggestions on making improvements?

Tourism pros will be asked about the promotion of responsible tourism (in particular ecotourism). Those operating in protecting areas are asked for specific suggestions on conserving cultural and natural resources.

The survey is open through the end of June 2006.

ADMINISTRATIVE NOTES

We are targeting active tourism professionals (tour guides, operators and hotel owners, etc.) as the focal group of this study. Others may review the survey, but answers from consultants and students will not be tabulated.

We ask for a name and email, but this information will not be included in the summary unless permission is granted.

Results will be published on Planeta.com and referenced in upcoming presentations. Answers will be used to update our ecotourism survey and our review of green events.
