A New Book Announcement

A poetry book written by a survivor of polio attack. The book contains sixty inspirational, love and religious poems. The poems were skillfully composed to touch the heart and lessen the grief as well as inspire the underprivileged members of every society.

The New Way

Our lives are filled with degrees of pleasures and pain. Our health may change for the better or for the worse; we may be rich today only to become poor tomorrow. Can we cope with the realities of life? Problems are simply disguised opportunities. Hence opportunities can be enhanced by the way we approach them. The poems in my new book, "The New Way", will allow one to cope with the day to day realities of life. The poems in the book are inspirational and informative. Hence the book explores everything on how one can illuminate their lives through reading poems that shows one the new way to deal with life stresses.

About The Author

Joseph Ojih is an experienced teacher and writer. He is a man whose life was threatened by disability -- he had polio at the age of three. According to him, his thirty years experience with disability taught him indelible lessons about the pains and the pleasures of life. It is these lessons that he shared in his book The New Way.

Born in Nigeria (West Africa) in 1973, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics in 1997. He worked for some years as a teacher in Nigeria before migrating to United States in 2004. He presently live in Middle River, Baltimore (Maryland), where he work as a Substitute Teacher.
