Pioneering online review community RateItAll.com re-launches with a new design and new features.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 2, 2006 -- Online ratings community and social network RateItAll, Inc. (www.rateitall.com) today announced that it had re-launched its Web site with a new design and a number of new features.
Design and development firm 30 Second Rule, Inc. (www.30secondrule.com) led the creative design of the site.
“We went into this redesign process with a couple of goals; a cleaner and more modern design, a more readable layout, and a more intuitive navigation,” said RateItAll President Lawrence Coburn. “I think we succeeded on all counts.”
Included in the re-launch were a number of new features such as:
RateItAll People Tagging – A feature that enables RateItAll members to tag themselves with searchable keywords that represent their interests, areas of expertise, and groups. Clicking on a People Tag displays other members of the RateItAll Community with the same tag.
RateItAll Recommendation Engine – A service that allows RateItAll members to generate personalized product and service recommendations based on trusted networks of reviewers.
RateItAll Widgets – A publishing tool that allows visitors to RateItAll to quickly and easily post snapshots of RateItAll ratings lists on their own blog, personal Web site, or MySpace profile page.
RateItAll Economy – A program that allows RateItAll members to earn cash for qualifying content contributions to the RateItAll community.
“RateItAll has evolved dramatically since our launch in 1999,” said Coburn. “I’m excited about our direction, and I think the sky’s the limit for this community.”
