NSHMBA Connecticut Chapter will be hosting the 9th Annual Destino Awards Celebration on Saturday, May 6th, 2006 at 6:00pm at the Marriott Hartford Downtown. This year’s Destino Awards will have Ana Maria Polo, lawyer and judge on Telemundo’s nationally broadcasted show Caso Cerado, as the keynote speaker of the evening and honored with the Destino Award of Distinction.
Hartford, CT (PRWEB) May 4, 2006 -- NSHMBA Connecticut Chapter will be hosting the 9th Annual Destino Awards Celebration on Saturday, May 6th, 2006 at 6:00pm at the Marriott Hartford Downtown. This year’s Destino Awards will have Ana Maria Polo, lawyer and judge on Telemundo’s nationally broadcasted show Caso Cerado, as the keynote speaker of the evening and honored with the Destino Award of Distinction.
The celebration is a means of recognizing and honoring our strategic partners and members of the business community who arduously contribute to the execution of the chapter’s mission. Their commitment is exemplary and crucial to both NSHMBA CT and our local professional Hispanic business leaders. It is a unique opportunity to combine our members’ professional development and networking with our community’s cultural awareness.
Other award recipients include: Xerox Corporation, Corporate Partner; Ricardo Valencia Lopez, Vice President, Head of U.S. Hispanic Markets at ING, Corporate Individual; and Albertus Magnus, Destino Awards Not for Profit Organization and Yvonne Zayas for NSHMBA CT Member of the Year.
Marilyn Alverio, Principal at Ethnic Marketing Solutions, will be the Master of Ceremonies, and Lorena Garay will provide entertainment. A Dinner and Networking Reception will follow. Cost of event is $45 for members, $55 for non-members, and an opportunity of both becoming a member and attending the dinner for only $100.
