EDI Services are a product option enabling traditional EDI relationships in the form of collaborations between internal applications, process and external partners. It includes a combination of meta-data for X12 and EDIFACT transactions, design time components, run time services and a powerful communications architecture for message oriented communications between partners and applications.

The option includes Collaboration Wizards to simplify the definition of transaction end-points and development of the complex collaborations needed to connect internal applications and external partners in accordance with the relevant business processes and communications requirements of each EDI relationship.

“EDI is the backbone of most B2B relationships” stated Anthony Baran, Chairman and COO of EXTOL. “The addition of the EDI Services capabilities and the new B2B foundation in the EXTOL Business Integrator help enable existing IT teams meet multiple B2B challenges with a common integration platform.
