Make The Most Of Mother's Day ... From Scrapbook.com

It's Mother's Day on Sunday and you want to make it special and long lasting.

MESA, AZ (PRWEB) May 12, 2006 -- One of America's Premier Mothers, Jill Davis of Scrapbook.com, shares some tips on preplanning your memory preservation for a great day and a great memory.

Davis, who founded the company in the heart of the Internet implosion, has an idea of what it takes to raise a family ... and a company. Her sons, one who was a Goldman Sach's analyst and another who was in law school, have made the company a financial success and a neighborhood where 100,000 scrapbook fans gather regularly.

Here's her ideas to make some memories this weekend.

1) Get out your camera and take pictures. If you use a digital camera you can share the photo with all family members. Some shots to consider:

                Mom with kids

                Mom with grandkids

                Mom and Dad

                Three generation pictures

                Candid shots

                Close-ups

                Group shots

2) Do a mini interview with your mom and write her answers in a handmade card/booklet and give to her. Save a copy for yourself. Possible questions to ask:

What were your hopes and dreams for me?

What were your fears in raising me?

Who helped you become a mom? How did they help you?

What are your greatest accomplishments as a mother?

                Who were/are your mentors/role models?

What would you like to live over again?

What one piece of advice would you give to mothers all over the world?

  • Write a letter to your mom and consider including one or some of the following. Be sure to save a copy for yourself:

                10 things she taught you

10 attributes you love about her

One cherished memory that always comes to mind when you think of her.

One thing about her physical-self which stands out and you see in yourself or your offspring.
