Author Allen Rubin, in his newly released book, “The Da Vinci Man Code, Leonardo’s Real Secret Code,” researches amazing similarities between scientific models and spiritual symbols. His 10 years of research, supported by 400 illustrations, indicates that the Da Vinci Man (Vitruvian Man) is a universal symbol for indivisible wholeness. He believes that “The Da Vinci Man Code” is a paradigm for the 21st century, a paradigm for world peace.

(PRWEB) May 18, 2006 – Author Allen Rubin announces the release of his new book “The Da Vinci Man Code, Leonardo’s Real Secret Code” (www.davincimancode.com), just in time for the weekend release of the movie “The Da Vinci Code.” Rubin's book is based on more than 10 years of research, and contains more than 400 illustrations.

“Unlike The Da Vinci Code, The Da Vinci Man Code is nonfiction,” says author Allen Rubin. “Many individuals believe that Leonardo’s real secret code was the squaring of the circle, represented by the Da Vinci Man. One person is in a square, cojoined with another person in the circle. The result is a figure with four arms and four legs. Once people see The Da Vinci Code, this might spark their interest to see if Leonardo had a real secret code.”

Da Vinci devoted over 20 years of his life to the squaring of the circle, represented by his Vitruvian Man, his figure with four arms and four legs. Many believe it was Da Vinci's greatest passion and he himself believed it would transform humanity.

Da Vinci believed that the proportions of the human body are magical and the Da Vinci Man represented man (the microcosm) created in the image of God (the macrocosm).

Da Vinci said it best: "The outstretched arms and legs of a man form a square and a circle: the square symbolizes the solid physical world and the circle the spiritual and eternal. Man bridges the gap between these two worlds.”
...Leonardo Da Vinci, “The Magical Proportions of Man”

Allen Rubin has spent years researching the implications of the Da Vinci Man. He says the Da Vinci Man is a model for the wholeness every person is seeking in order to achieve balance, inner peace and happiness. The two cojoined figures of the Da Vinci Man, creating a person with four arms and four legs, represents the union of man with the Divine, the integration of body and soul, heart and mind, compassion with clarity, work with love, union of masculine and feminine. As the consummate artist and scientist of his time, Leonardo Da Vinci embodied the indivisible wholeness represented by the Vitruvian Man.

“The current scientific paradigm focuses on our separation from nature. It emphasizes our material (Da Vinci Man in the square) rather than our angelic (Da Vinci Man in the circle) nature,” says Rubin. “This makes us feel lonely and separate from each other. However, this is counterintuitive to our own spiritual experiences. The two cojoined forms of the Da Vinci Man, with similarities to the Yin-Yang, Star of David and Christian Cross, teach us the value of wholeness and inform us how we can achieve greater love, wealth, health and spiritual growth in our lives.”

“The Da Vinci Man Code” is currently available as an eBook at www.davincimancode.com. The print version will be available at the website in 2 to 3 weeks.

About the Author:
“When I was a child, year after year, my most enjoyable worldly experience was to go to the Science and Industry Museum in Chicago. There I would sit, entranced with the Electromagnetic Spectrum Exhibit, where an amazing person, like a magician, demonstrated the unity and wholeness of creation.”

“I knew this would be my life purpose: to help others understand that, despite all appearances on the surface, everything and everyone is essentially one and united. We are not separate from our environment and each other. Everything exists in one wholeness. We are one human family. At some level, The Da Vinci Man Code was born here.”

Allen Rubin began researching and writing “The Da Vinci Man Code, Leonardo’s Real Secret Code” in April 1994. Allen noticed that scientific models were starting to look like religious symbols and art. He then discovered that the Da Vinci Man is a very important bridge and universal translator between scientific models (the material world) and religious symbols (the spiritual world). And, this is exactly Da Vinci's intention for the creation of the Vitruvian Man.
