Carl teams up once again with producer Tee Bates who is known for her cinematically looking music videos and veteran camera director Chris Mills who acts as an consultant with over 100 movie credits and still counting. Family Curse sets a new benchmark in horror films.
Family Curse, which stars Tonee Bell (Bryan) is a "Bible Belt" horror about a 17 year old boy named Bryan. Bryan is a young sports prodigy being looked at by the pros. Over night, he becomes the city star and every girl dream and now life is taking a turn for the worst. For weeks now he has been tormented by horrible dreams. Two creatures, Mykel Shannon Jenkins (Arthur) and (Joe) Christopher Marshall, battle over him every night, which has intensified during the day as well, Are they real or just dreams? Bryan is about to find out but not without help. His new friends, Renee and Des, are guiding him through this adventure but are they really there to help?
Mykel Shannon Jenkins (ABC's Comedy "Help me, Help You", Double Jeopardy, NBC's Medical Investigation, WB's Charmed, Baller Blockin' Positive) shows his acting chops once again. Jenkins thespian ability to transcend under any particular circumstance or role is evident in, Family Curse.
Casting began this April, and principal photography will take place throughout the month of May in Atlanta, GA. The production budget is set in the six-figure bracket.

Currently playing the character Rusty in Family Curse, is John Schuk a young, thug associate of the main character's brother, Terry. Recent projects for Mr. Schuk includes independent films The Novice, Strife, The Kissing Bandit and That's How Love Is, as well as a television pilot called Mind Games.
