A Girls Treasure First Annual “Me and My Doll on Vacation” Contest is open to people of all ages who will be traveling this summer. Whether it’s the town around the bend or a cross-country trek, we want your photos. Take your doll with you on vacation and snap a photo of you and your doll on a mountain, riding a cable car in San Francisco, rowing a boat on a lake, having dinner at your grandparents. Use your imagination and take the winning photo.
“I have very fond memories of taking my dolls on vacation,” said Ann Kranitz, proprietor of A Girls Treasure. “I had little outfits including swim suits and pajamas. It definitely kept me occupied as I traveled. I wanted to encourage other children to use their creative spirit and capture their favorite travel memories with their dolls.”
Anyone interested in the “Me and My Doll on Vacation” contest should visit www.mytreasures.biz and register their doll for the contest. Entrants will receive a doll passport, travel suitcase, paper money and postcards. Then, take your doll and passport on vacation, and snap away.
